This Assessment is Ideal If...
-
Your child has never had lessons
-
Your child is nervous around the water
-
Your child has had a negative or fear-based experience (including ISR)
-
You want a gentle, play-based approach
-
You want your child to become water-safe as quickly as possible
-
You’re ready to commit to 2–3 lessons per week for real progress
What Happens At The Assessment?
Your child will explore the water at their own pace through gentle, play-based interaction. No pressure, no tears — just warm rapport-building and a chance to understand their comfort level and safety skills.
For older or more comfortable swimmers, the assessment focuses on identifying their current skill level, refining technique, and setting clear progression goals so they can become safer, stronger, and more confident in the water.
After the Assessment
I will share what I observed and outline the best path forward for your child. You’ll know exactly what skills we’ll focus on, how many lessons per week will support real progress, and what you can expect in the first month.
