What Makes Swim
With Carissa Different...

Your child deserves to feel safe, supported, and joyful in the water. My teaching style is gentle, play-based, and built on trust — never fear, force, or “throw them in” methods. Every lesson is calm, encouraging, and designed to help your child learn real safety skills without tears.

What to Expect in the First Month

Every child progresses at their own pace, but most families see steady improvement when lessons are gentle, consistent, and focused on water safety.

Here’s a simple look at what the first month often includes:

  • Building rapport and trust

  • Learning about the water

  • Exposure through play, not pressure

  • No tears — just gentle introduction

How it Works:

1 / Book An Assessment

Begin with a 20-minute assessment to evaluate your child’s water comfort and identify any foundational skills they may already have and then set goals accordingly.

2 / Create a Consistent Lesson Plan

Next, schedule 2 or 3 lessons per week (ideally) to meet for swim lessons.

3 / Dive in!

Start the scheduled swim lessons, start learning, and have fun!
